Double Ace for 13 year old schoolboy

BURGEONING talent Andrew Mead displayed perfect timing when he became the youngest golfer to win a second BOSS watch for scoring a hole-in-one in a qualifying club competition.

While many golfers can go their whole lives without recording the elusive ace, 13-year-old Mead, from Newbury, has recorded two in the space of just 16 months – on different par threes.The ten-handicapper – a member of the Berks, Bucks & Oxon county squad – achieved his second ace on the 125-yard sixth hole, at Newbury & Crookham, after holing out in June 2013 on the 151-yard 14th at the Newbury Racecourse GC.
